NAME
mam - tool for adding accessibility features to motif applications

SYNOPSIS
     mam [options] application

DESCRIPTION
The Motif Accessibility Module (MAM) provides a non-invasive and
invisible interface between the application and the keyboard, screen or
mouse. An application can be run with the mam command to provide
customized tooltips, colors, fonts and keyboard navigation.

The following command-line options can be used with mam:

-l{ang} locale Use locale internally, overriding LANG settings.

-t target Use target alternative internal libraries if available.

-v Display mam version information and exit.

-i Run the Application Inspector (requires a license).

-m Display the mam Image Magnifier.

-e Enable internal X/Motif error handlers.

-O Override (program exit for non-Motif applications).

-d Debugging information printed to stderr.

A user's desktop can be configured to use mam via AccessX (Toolchest >
Desktop > Customize > Accessibility) or mamcfg.

For full usage instructions, see "IST's Motif Accessibility Solution".

NOTES
For your application to be made fully accessible, it needs to have been
dynamically linked with the Xt library (libXt), Xm and X11. You can find
out whether the application has been dynamically or statically linked
with libXt by running ldd on the application. If the output mentions
libXt, the application has been dynamically linked with the Xt library
     and can be made accessible.

A software license is required to run the MAM Application Inspector (see
     release notes for details).

MAM is a proprietary product from Imperial Software Technology
     (http://www.ist.co.uk).
