NAME
mamcfg - configure MAM for the desktop

SYNOPSIS
     mamcfg [options]

DESCRIPTION
mamcfg can be used to configure the IRIX Interactive Desktop (IID) to use
the Motif Accessibility Module (MAM) for various components, e.g. 4Dwm,
     toolchest and fm.

The following command-line options can be used with mamcfg:

-a on|off Turn all mam settings on or off for the desktop. Specific
settings may be modified by other options.

-4 on|off If on, run 4Dwm using mam at login.

-t on|off If on, run toolchest using mam at login.

-f on|off If on, run fm using mam at login.

-r on|off If on, load mam-specific resources at login.

-R res_file Set the resources file to be loaded at login.

-D Set the resources file to the default,
		   /usr/lib/X11/mam/mam_resources.

-s Show contents of the configuration file after any changes
		   have been applied.

A user's desktop can also be configured to use mam via AccessX (Toolchest
     > Desktop > Customize > Accessibility).

FILES
     $HOME/.desktop-<hostname>/mam
Configuration file for desktop integration created by
		   mamcfg.

     /usr/lib/X11/mam/mam_resources
Resources which allow specific applications to run
		   correctly with mam.

SEE ALSO
     fm(1), mam(1), IID(1G), 4Dwm(1X), toolchest(1X).

NOTES
The configuration file created by mamcfg is used at login by
/usr/lib/X11/xdm/Xsession.dt. If users have their own $HOME/.xsession
files, the full IID/MAM integration may not be achieved.
