SYNOPSISgvfs-rm URI
DESCRIPTIONgvfs-rm removes a directory entry using the VFS system via a URI.
OPERANDS
The following operands are supported:
URI Specifies the file location in standard URI format.
EXAMPLES
Example 1: Remove a local file
example% gvfs-rm file:///tmp/example
Example 2: Remove a remote object
example% gvfs-rm smb://server/dir/example
ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES
See environ(5) for descriptions of the following environment variables:
NLSPATH.
EXIT STATUS
The exit value 0 is returned regardless of success or failure.

The following files are used by this application:
/usr/bin/gvfs-rm Executable to remove a directory entry using
the VFS system
