XEnableAccessControl() XEnableAccessControl()
Name
XEnableAccessControl – use access control list to allow or deny connec‐
tion requests.
Synopsis
XEnableAccessControl(display)
Display *display;
Arguments
display Specifies a connection to an X server; returned from
XOpenDisplay().
Description
XEnableAccessControl() instructs the server to use the host access list
to determine whether access should be granted to clients seeking a con‐
nection with the server.
By default, the host access list is used. If access has not been dis‐
abled with XDisableAccessControl() or XSetAccessControl(), this routine
does nothing.
This routine can only be called by clients running on the same host as
the server.
