NAME
     SCAbort - abort the current scan

SYNOPSIS
     #include <stdio.h>
     #include <scanner.h>

     int SCAbort(SCANNER *s);

DESCRIPTION
     SCAbort causes the current scan to stop immediately (or as soon as
     possible).	 Any data buffered by the scanner driver is discarded.

RETURN VALUE
     SCAbort returns 0 if successful, or it returns -1 and sets SCerrno if an
     error occurs.  It is an error to call SCAbort if a scan is not in
     progress.

EXECUTION ERROR CODES
     SCAbort will fail under the following circumstances.

     SCEDEV		      Scanner driver error

     SCECOMM		      Error communicating with scanner driver

     SCENOTSCANNING	      Not currently scanning
