DESCRIPTIONxstls program displays the available fonts or available scalers.
OPTIONS
Xstls accepts all of the standard X Toolkit command line options along
with the additional options listed below:
-e This option indicates that xstls is to display extra informa‐
tion about the fonts or scalers. The extra information includes
additonal names, version information, etc.
-ee This option indicates that xstls is to display all extra infor‐
mation available about the fonts or scalers. This option
includes the -li, -m, and -la options.
-f This option indicates that xstls is to display the list of
available fonts. This is the default option and will be used
if no command line arguments are specified.
-ff This option indicates that xstls is to display the list of
available fonts based by font family. The family is printed
first, followed by each of the available fonts within the fam‐
ily.
-h This option displays the help message and exits
-l This option indicates that xstls is to display the list of
available layout engines.
-li This option indicates that xstls is to display the license
information for fonts. This option automatically turns on the
-e option.
-lang This option indicates that xstls is to display the language
information for fonts. This option automatically turns on the
-e option.
-m This option indicates that xstls is to display the metrics
information for fonts. This option automatically turns on the
-e option.
-name %s
This option indicates that xstls is to filter the output to
show only those scalers, fonts, or font families that include
the string following the -n option. This filter does not scan
the additional information.
-s This option indicates that xstls is to display the list of
available scalers.
-sort This option indicates that xstls is to sort the list of avail‐
able fonts. This option requires the -f option, and will auto‐
matically turn it on. It is not available with either the -ff,
-l or -s option.
-w %d This option indicates that xstls is to override the width and
format the output for a window that is %d characters wide.
