NAME
     v_gethandle - get unique identifier associated with virtual handle

SYNOPSIS

     #include "ksys/ddmap.h"

     v_gethandle(vhandl_t *vt);

DESCRIPTION
     v_gethandle returns the unique identifier with which the virtual handle
     vt is associated.	It is this value only, and not the address of vt,
     which uniquely identifies the virtual handle, vt, across successive calls
     to driver routines.
