NAME
ssdump - print out the contents of SpeedShop performance experiment data
     files

SYNOPSIS
     ssdump [ options ] {name1 ... nameN } ...

DESCRIPTION
ssdump prints out the formatted contents of one or more SpeedShop
performance experiment data files. Each of the files consists of a
string of "beads", or count-key-data records.

If any of the named files contain beads indicating additional data files,
from descendant processes of the original run, those files will also be
     dumped.

Options are used to control the printing of the files.

-d Print detailed information for each bead. For compressed beads, the
	  compressed form will be dumped.

-D Print detailed information for each bead. For compressed beads, the
uncompressed form will be dumped. If both -D and -d are given, both
forms will be printed for compressed beads, but only one copy will
be printed for beads that are not recorded in compressed form.

-h Print out the hex contents of the body of each bead.

-q Suppress printing of those fields that will normally change from run
to run. Such fields contain, for example, process pid's, time
stamps, and so forth. This option is used for QA work, to better
enable automatic comparisons of recorded experiments.

     -s <offset>
Print only one bead at the given offset into the file.

     -i <index>
Print only one bead at the given index in the file.
