pfdBreakup(3pf) OpenGL Performer 3.2.2 libpfdu Reference Pages

NAME
     pfdBreakup - Create an artificial hierarchy from unstructured input
     geometry.

FUNCTION SPECIFICATION
     #include <Performer/pfdu.h>

     pfNode *	pfdBreakup(pfGeode *geode, float geodeSize, int stripLength,
		  int geodeChild);

DESCRIPTION
     pfdBreakup is now deprecated. This function simply calls
     pfdSpatializeGraph with an octree level which reflects the given maximum
     geode size, the given strip length, and PFD_BREAKUP_GEOSETS |
     PFD_SPATIALIZE_GRAPH as the flags. The geodeChild parameter is currently
     ignored. For more control over breaking up and spatializing a scene
     graph, see the pfdSpatializeGraph man page. pfdSpatializeGraph has
     additional options, and works on both indexed and non-indexed geometry
     for all primitive types.

NOTES
     The input geode is not deleted.

     The libpfdu source code, object code and documentation are provided as
     unsupported software. Routines are subject to change in future releases.
