NAME
     ha_macconfig2 - modify/display MAC addresses

SYNOPSIS
     ha_macconfig2 [ interface MAC-address ]
     ha_macconfig2 arp interface IP-address

DESCRIPTION
ha_macconfig2 allows you to display and change the MAC address of a
     network interface.

When no arguments are provided, ha_macconfig2 displays the MAC addresses
of all configured interfaces in the system. The ha_macconfig2 command
allows you to set the MAC address of a network interface.

If arp option is specified, ha_macconfig2 command generates gratuitous
arp packet for the IP address passed as argument.	Gratuitous arp packet
is generated by SGI FailSafe to inform other machines in the network
     about IP address failover.

This command is used by the SGI FailSafe high-availability product.

NOTE
This command does not change the MAC address of an FDDI network
     interface.
