NAME
ha_ifdadmin - network interface administration command

SYNOPSIS
     ha_ifdadmin { -i | -s | -g } input_file output_file

DESCRIPTION
ha_ifdadmin command provides information about IP addresses from the
     ha_ifd daemon.

The list of IP addresses (in XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX notation) are specified in
the input_file. The output information for each IP address is returned by
the command ha_ifdadmin in the output_file.

The input file should have each IP address listed in a separate line. The
information about each IP address in the output is listed in separate
lines. The IP address information format in the output file depends on
     the request.

The output_file should be created by the user before using the command.

OPTIONS
     ha_ifdadmin takes following options:

-i Gets information about the IP address listed in the
input_file. The format of the output file is:

	  <IP address> <Network interface name> <Netmask> <Broadcast address>

The fields are separated by white spaces. If the IP address is not
configured in the machine, the second field in the output file is set to
     string error.

-s Get the status of the IP address specified in the input_file.
A non-zero status indicates that either the IP address is not
configured on the machine or the network interface on which
the IP address is configured is bad. Zero status indicates
that IP address is configured in the machine. The format of
		 the output file is:

	  <IP address> <status>

The fields are separated by white spaces. If the IP address status is
good, the status field is set to zero.

-g Get a network interface to configure the IP address. The
interface is determined using the list of network interfaces
specified in the CDB for the IP address and status of the
network interface. All network interfaces that have been
declared as sick or down by ha_ifd daemon are not considered.
