NAME
     getbut - returns the state of a button

FORTRAN 77 SPECIFICATION
     logical function getbut(num)
     integer*4 num

PARAMETERS
     num   is the device number of the button you want to test.

FUNCTION RETURN VALUE
     There are two possible return values for this function:

     .FALSE.   indicates that button num is up.

     .TRUE.    indicates that button num is down.

     The return value is undefined if there was an error, e.g.	num is not a
     button device.

DESCRIPTION
     getbut returns the state of button num.
