This page documents the version of Sgm that accompanies Motif 1.2.
DESCRIPTION
This man pages describes new resources added to the Motif Text widget
by SGI. To get these resources you need to #define __sgi in your appli‐
cation.
For a description of the XmText widget non-SGI resources see the XmText
man page.
New Resources
The following table defines a set of widget resources used by the pro‐
grammer to specify data. The programmer can also set the resource val‐
ues for the inherited classes to set attributes for this widget. To
reference a resource by name or by class in a .Xdefaults file, remove
the SgN or SgC prefix and use the remaining letters. To specify one of
the defined values for a resource in a .Xdefaults file, remove the Sg
prefix and use the remaining letters (in either lowercase or uppercase,
but include any underscores between words). The codes in the access
column indicate if the given resource can be set at creation time (C),
set by using XtSetValues (S), retrieved by using XtGetValues (G), or is
not applicable (N/A).

Specifies the text selection background color. In non-SGI text widget
the widget's foreground color is used for the text selection back‐
ground. Specifies the text selection foreground color. In non-SGI
text widget the widget's background color is used for the text selec‐
tion foreground. Specifies the text background color for text selected
with the SgTextSetErrorSelection function. This marks the text as
selected with an error status that is indicated by the background
color, specified by the SgNerrorBackground resource. Specifies
whethere to show the text widget cursor only when the widget has focus.
If cursorVisibleOnFocus is True then the cursor is not visible if the
widget has no keyboard focus; if cursorVisibleOnFocus is False then the
cursor is always visible even when the widget has no keyboard focus.
