NAME
       XmScale — XmScale SGI Resources

SYNOPSIS
       #include <Scale.h>

VERSION
This page documents the version of Sgm that accompanies Motif 1.2.

DESCRIPTION
This man pages describes new resources added to the Motif Scale widget
by SGI. To get these resources you need to #define __sgi in your appli‐
       cation.

For a description of	the XmScale widget non-SGI resources see the
       XmScale man page.

   New Resources
The following table defines a set of widget resources used by the pro‐
grammer to specify data. The programmer can also set the resource val‐
ues for the inherited classes to set attributes for this widget. To
reference a resource by name or by class in a .Xdefaults file, remove
the XmN or XmC prefix and use the remaining letters. To specify one of
the defined values for a resource in a .Xdefaults file, remove the Xm
prefix and use the remaining letters (in either lowercase or uppercase,
but include any underscores between words). The codes in the access
column indicate if the given resource can be set at creation time (C),
set by using XtSetValues (S), retrieved by using XtGetValues (G), or is
       not applicable (N/A).

			       XmScale SGI Resource Set
     Name Class Type Default Access
     ─────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
     XmNsliderVisual XmCSliderVisual XmRSliderVisual XmETCHED_LINE CSG
     XmNslidingMode XmCSlidingMode XmRSlidingMode XmSLIDER CSG
     XmNeditable XmCEditable XtBoolean True CSG

Specifies the visual representation of the slider. This can take on
the values XmETCHED_LINE, the default; XmSHADOWED, meaning there is no
single etched line across the center of the slider; and XmFLAT_FORE‐
GROUND, meaning there is no etched line and there are no shadows on the
edges of the slider. Specifies the way the slider shows the current
value. This can take on the values XmSLIDER, the default, meaning that
       the slider moves back and forth within the trough to  show  the	value;
and XmTHERMOMETER, meaning that the slider is anchored to one end of
the trough and it grows and shrinks to show the value. Specifies
whether	the scale widget acts upon user input. Setting this to False
makes the scale widget insensitive to user input but not greyed out as
       if XmNsensitive was used.
