NAME
     MPI_Group_rank - Returns the rank of this process in the given group

SYNOPSIS
     C:

	  #include <mpi.h>

	  int MPI_Group_rank ( group, rank )
	  MPI_Group group;
	  int *rank;

	  int Group::Get_rank() const

     Fortran:

	  INCLUDE "mpif.h" (or USE MPI)

	  CALL MPI_GROUP_RANK(group, rank, ierror)

STANDARDS
     This release implements the MPI 1.2 standard, as documented by the MPI
     Forum in the spring 1997 release of MPI:  A Message Passing Interface
     Standard.

DESCRIPTION
     The MPI_Group_rank routine returns the rank of the specified process in
     the given group.  This routine accepts the following parameters:

     group     Specifies the group (handle)

     rank      Returns the rank of the calling process in group, or, if the
	       process is not a member, returns MPI_UNDEFINED (integer)

     ierror    Specifies the return code value for successful completion,
	       which is in MPI_SUCCESS.	 MPI_SUCCESS is defined in the mpif.h
	       file.
