MPI_COMM_FREE_KEYVAL(3)				       MPI_COMM_FREE_KEYVAL(3)

NAME
     MPI_Comm_free_keyval - Frees the communicator attribute key for the
     communicator cache attribute

SYNOPSIS
     C:

	  #include <mpi.h>

	  int MPI_Comm_free_keyval ( comm_keyval )
	  int *comm_keyval;

     Fortran:

	  INCLUDE "mpif.h" (or USE MPI)

	  INTEGER comm_keyval, ierror

	  CALL MPI_COMM_FREE_KEYVAL(comm_keyval, ierror)

STANDARDS
     This function is defined in the MPI-2 standard.

     This release implements the MPI 1.2 standard, as documented by the MPI
     Forum in the spring 1997 release of MPI: A Message Passing Interface
     Standard.

DESCRIPTION
     The MPI_Comm_free_keyval routine frees the communicator attribute key for
     the communicator cache attribute.	This routine replaces the
     MPI_Keyval_free routine, which has been deprecated. This routine accepts
     the following parameter:

     comm_keyval
	       Frees the integer key value (integer)

     ierror Specifies the return code value for successful completion,
	       which is in MPI_SUCCESS. MPI_SUCCESS is defined in the mpif.h
	       file.

NOTES
     Key values are global (they can be used with any and all communicators).
