NAME
     MPI_Barrier - Blocks until all processes have reached the routine at
     which the barrier is placed

SYNOPSIS

STANDARDS
     This release implements the MPI 1.2 standard, as documented by the MPI
     Forum in the spring 1997 release of MPI:  A Message Passing Interface
     Standard.

DESCRIPTION
     The MPI_Barrier routine blocks until all processes have reached the
     routine at which the barrier is placed.  It blocks the caller until all
     group members have called it; the call returns at any process only after
     all group members have entered the call.  This routine accepts the
     following parameter:

     comm      Specfies the communicator (handle)

     ierror    Specifies the return code value for successful completion,
	       which is in MPI_SUCCESS.	 MPI_SUCCESS is defined in the mpif.h
	       file.
