frexpd64(3M)frexpd64(3M)NAMEfrexpd64(), frexpd128(), frexpd32() - extract mantissa and exponent
from decimal floating-point numbers
SYNOPSISDESCRIPTION
The function breaks a decimal floating-point number into a normalized
decimal fraction f and an integral power of 10. It returns f and
stores the integer exponent of 10 in the object pointed to by exp. The
fraction f is a with magnitude in the interval [0.1, 1) or zero, and
value equals f times 10 raised to the power *exp.
is a version of it takes a first argument and returns a result.

RETURN VALUE
If value is zero, returns value and stores zero in the object pointed
to by exp.
If value is NaN, returns NaN, and the value of *exp is unspecified.
If value returns value, and the value of *exp is unspecified.
These functions raise no exceptions.
