  XCreateRegion – create a new empty region.

Synopsis
  Region XCreateRegion()

Returns
  The created region.

Description
  XCreateRegion()  creates  a  new region of undefined size.  XPolygonRe‐
  gion() can be used to create a region with a defined	shape  and  size.
  Many	of the functions that perform operations on regions can also cre‐
  ate regions.

  For a description of regions, see Volume One, Chapter 6, Drawing Graph‐
  ics and Text.

  Region is a pointer to an opaque structure type.
