WCSWIDTH(3)		    BSD Programmer's Manual		   WCSWIDTH(3)

NAME
     wcswidth - return screen width of a wide-character string

SYNOPSIS
     #include <wchar.h>

     int
     wcswidth(const char *ws, size_t n);

DESCRIPTION
     The wcswidth() computes the screen width of the first n wide-character
     codes from the NULL terminated wide-character string ws (or the entire
     string if it is fewer than n wide-characters). The width of each wide-
     character is determined by scrwidth(3). The results are summed and re-
     turned.
