RPASSWDADM(8) BSD System Manager's Manual RPASSWDADM(8)

NAME
rpasswdadm - manage the /etc/rpasswd.db database

SYNOPSIS
     rpasswdadm [-a user:encrypted-password] [-d user]

DESCRIPTION
The rpasswdadm utility is used to add or delete users from the
     /etc/rpasswd.db database.

     The following options are available:

-a Add (or modify) an entry for user whose encrypted password is
encrypted-password. If encrypted-password is the empty string,
then user does not require a password.

-r Remove the entry associated with user from the database.

If called with no arguments, rpasswdadm will dump out the entire
database, one user per line, in the form of:

	   user:encrypted-password
