NAME
     hostid - display numeric host identification

SYNOPSIS
     hostid

DESCRIPTION
     The hostid utility displays the numeric host identifier of the current
     host in decimal.  This information is the same as the information pre-
     sented by the

	   sysctl kern.hostid

     command.

     The hostid utility exits 0 on success, and >0 if an error occurs.
